Bank Ward Secretary/Clinical Administrator -

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our bank admin team on a casual, as and when basis (e.g. to cover holidays or sick leave). We are looking for someone who could work full days on Mondays to Fridays, including during school holidays and at fairly short notice. You will provide a secretarial/administrative service to our two wards, also potentially covering clinical admin in other areas such as Community and Day Services.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to work with our busy and successful ECHO team within the AUPC and to co-ordinate the ECHO teaching programme (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) . The ECHO hub based at St Gemma’s, is a regional centre bringing a multidisciplinary team of palliative and end of life care specialists together to develop and deliver education programmes using video-conferencing.

We are looking for a highly experienced palliative care nurse with vision. The successful candidate will work closely with the Nurse Consultant and clinical leads within the Hospice and with other care providers within the community and acute Trust, to deliver an integrated service that is patient and carer focused.

Day Services Driver Volunteer -

St Gemma's Day Hospice, Moortown
Once a week on a Wednesday or Thursday
St Gemma’s Hospice Day Services provide extra support to patients and their families if the patient chooses to remain at home during their illness. This role involves using your own vehicle to transport more independently mobile patients between their homes and the Hospice so that they can access these vital services.

All of the money raised helps to fund the services that we provide to patients and their families. We are looking for volunteers to help in this e-commerce department located at our Retail Hub in Bramley.

Charity Shop Volunteer -

24 charity shops across Leeds
Flexible hours
Join the team and help to make St Gemma’s shops a huge success on the high street. Our shops raise much needed funds to support local people facing cancer and other life limiting illnesses. You’ll work in shifts, often donating one or two mornings or afternoons per week but two hours once a week is also valuable to us.

We are looking for volunteers to help at our Bramley Warehouse to help sort goods that are donated to the Hospice. We are very lucky to receive regular donations of clothes, toys, books, CDs, furniture, bric a brac, and much more! We need your help in sorting through the donations so that they can be delivered to our 24 charity shops. Whether you can spare two hours a week or two days a week, we’d love to hear from you!
