Volunteers & HR Co-ordinator -

St Gemma's Hospice
Band 4 £20,799 - £24,307 per annum
37.5 hours per week
Our volunteers play a crucial role across all areas of the Hospice. We are seeking an enthusiastic person who can manage all volunteer resources and activities across the organisation, ensuring that consistent, high quality advice and support is offered to all Hospice staff, volunteers and external agencies. The role also involves assisting with the day to day activities of the HR function, therefore a flexible approach is required.

End date: November 2nd, 2020

Registered Nurses - In-Patient Unit -

Band 5 equivalent - £23,713 to £30,804 per annum full-time
37.5 per week (part-time hours considered) - 24 hour internal rotation

We are seeking experienced, dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Nurse Bank. If you are a Registered Nurse with experience in palliative/end of life care, oncology or long term conditions, have excellent communication skills and are passionate about delivering high quality, patient centred care we would like to hear from you.

E-Commerce Assistant Volunteer -

St Gemma's Retail Hub, Bramley

Through the St Gemma’s Hospice eBay store we auction a variety of carefully selected items, vintage, collectables, designer wear, most of which have been kindly donated to us. All of the money raised helps to fund the services that we provide to patients and their families. We are looking for volunteers to help in this e-commerce department located at our Retail Hub in Bramley.

We are looking to strengthen our Deputy Shop Manager team to help cover annual leave, sickness and occasional days on a casual “as and when required” basis, sometimes at fairly short notice.

Join the team and help to make St Gemma’s shops a huge success on the high street. Our shops raise much needed funds to support local people facing cancer and other life limiting illnesses. You’ll work in shifts, often donating one or two mornings or afternoons per week but two hours once a week is also valuable to us.

St Gemma’s Hospice is seeking to appoint a Head of Individual Giving on a permanent basis. This high profile, strategic post sits in the Income Generation leadership team and will take responsibility for developing and delivering a results focused income generation strategy covering Legacies, Trusts and Grants, Major Donors and Gifts and Individual Giving ideally having significant experience in at least one of these niche areas.
