St Gemma’s Hospice is the largest hospice in Yorkshire and one of the largest in the UK. We are looking to strengthen our Deputy Shop Manager team to help cover annual leave, sickness and occasional days on a casual “as and when required” basis, sometimes at fairly short notice.

Responsibilities will include managing a team of dedicated volunteers, stock donations and the day to day running of a busy St Gemma’s charity shop to achieve sales targets.

Retail experience and management/supervisory experience of staff/volunteers is essential as are good communication skills and experience of dealing with the public.
