St Gemma’s Hospice is seeking Facilities Assistants to work within our Estates & Facilities Team. We are looking to recruit dedicated and loyal individuals to help provide a high standard of food service and cleanliness for both the Food and Housekeeping Service, working in the In-Patient Unit and the Bistro. You will also assist in the process of providing the Hospice with a clean, quality laundry service and to ensure patients have a clean and comfortable environment during their stay.
- be required to have catering/food and housekeeping service experience, preferably within a caring environment
- have a knowledge of COSHH and Infection Control
- have good organisational skills and use your own initiative
- be able to prioritise work
- be a team player
- ideally have a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
