St Gemma’s Hospice is seeking a Facilities Assistant to work within our Estates & Facilities Team.  We are looking to recruit a dedicated and loyal individual to provide a high standard of food and housekeeping service working in the In-Patient Unit and Bistro.  You will also assist in the process of providing the Hospice with a clean, quality laundry service and ensure patients have a clean and comfortable environment during their stay.
 
You will:
 

  • be required to have catering/food and housekeeping service experience, preferably within a caring environment
  • have a knowledge of COSHH and Infection Control
  • have good organisational skills and be able to use your own initiative
  • be able to prioritise work
  • be a team player
  • ideally have a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
